Day 4 of radiation. The trip there went smoothly. We took the Bond themes with us and his 2 letters he received yesterday from Bond. In addition to the CDs, he also received some McDonald's Certificates from James (aka the Thayers) and he insisted on bringing the 2 letters with him to show everyone at radiation. On the way, we once again were fighting bad guys with our gadget-packed minivan. Today, though, we did it with the music in the background. Then, Joey listened to his Bond themes while on the radiation table. I bet he imagined he was on Goldfinger's laser table. All went well, and then we were ready to go home. While waiting for our car, Joey saw a family get into theirs. There were 3 people. He said to me, "Look Mommy, that family isn't lucky because they only have 3 people. WE are so lucky because we have 4 people!" I told him that we certainly WERE lucky because before he was born, we were only a family of 3. Man, are we lucky now that he is with us to make us a family of 4! Gina had a Halloween Party at school today, and I was able to attend. She is the most beautiful witch I have ever seen. Her outfit is black velour with a velvet hat and an inset of purple spider webs. What is scary about it is how old she looks to me in this getup. I made up her face with black lipstick and sprayed her hair purple. She is adorable. It was so special for me to be able to attend her party--I have missed out on so much with her these past couple of months. When I returned home, Joey was playing with his cousin Mitchell. I notice he is a little tired today, but otherwise, he is feeling ok. I plan to let him trick or treat this weekend. What better occasion to weak a mask outside? Have a Happy Halloween! Love you all.
