Well, the Christmas Miracles continue for us. Last night, I was doing some power shopping and found myself at Giant Eagle at 10 pm. And, guess what? I GOT CARDED for Beer! Yeah--the miracles never cease. I could have kissed the cashier. After this year, I guess I don't look too bad! Wow! Seriously, we feel very blessed. Gina's last day for break was Friday. So, yesterday, we went with Lori and the twins to see The Polar Express. At one point in the movie, Joey climbed up on my lap, and Gina put her head on my shoulder. Then, she leaned over and gave Joey a kiss saying, "Buddy, you are so cute!" It was one of those magical mother moments. The message of the movie was BELIEVE. I certainly do. I believe we can have so many more of those magical moments. In fact, I have to focus on it...like when we arrived home and they were trying to kill each other. (Just keeping it real for all of you.) The point is to appreciate the good with the bad. Even when they fight, I am often able to look back and embrace their fighting spirits. We need fighters in this family. (not necessarily with each other--but fighters) I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. We plan on it. Joey is feeling well so far. This round of Accutane does not appear to be giving him much trouble. They did reduce his dose by 50%. He will follow-up in clinic on Thursday to check on his counts. We may just make it through the holiday. Love to all of you. And, Merry Christmas. I must say it now as I have a feeling my cards are going to transcend the holiday. I just picked them up last night from the photographer. I'll try....if they are late, though, you'll just have to forgive me. Merry, Merry!
