I honestly wrote a complete update yesterday, but it has yet to show up here. I must have forgotten to send it, so if it magically appears, I apologize for any repetition. I can blame it on a number of things: fatigue, old age, Jeff....whatever works, right? Joey had a good weekend. And, when Joey has a good weekend, we all do. Gina and I were able to go to the Flea Market for "girls club" on Saturday morning. It was something my mom, sister, and our girls were doing before our life changed. It was so nice to get back to it this weekend. We usually just have breakfast and bum around a bit. I really enjoyed it. Then, Gina had a birthday party to go to, so I came home and hung out with Jeff and Joey for the remainder of the day. Michigan won---so, there was peace in the house. I asked Joey what he wanted to say on this and he said, "Tell them that I have a really cool Bond costume, and I can't wait for them to see it!" I can't wait either. Jeff sent some pictures to our webmaster, Cousin Mike, so I expect they will show up soon. He looks so incredibly handsome with his tux, new hair, and sunglasses. He is really a riot in the outfit. He takes on a whole new identity, sneaking around the house and humming the 007 theme. He should rest well tonight. Yesterday, he had a visit from Mitchell, Matthew and Michael. For those of you who don't know, they are his cousins on the Tubo side. Mitchell is 9 and Matthew and Michael are 4 year old twins. Joey hadn't seen the twins since we left in July. At one point during the visit he said to me, "Mommy, am I dreaming?" He just couldn't believe he was playing with them. I said, "No, Joey, they are really here." He said, "Whew! I thought I was dreaming." Today, he had a visit from Nick, his cousin on my side of the family. Nick is 7 and pretty much in constant motion. He was the bad guy who was repeatedly defeated by Bond today. Nick is a really good sport. Joey loves to beat up on him. It was good to see family and be a family this weekend. Something like this really forces you to appreciate just hanging out and being "boring". We are praying for much more boredom to come. Joey will have a clinic visit tomorrow for blood counts and begins radiation on Tuesday morning. Tonight in prayers we asked God for a good blood count. Joey cupped his hand around his mouth and looked up to the sky and said, "And, make sure you hear us, ok?" Please continue to pray really loud, ok?
