We are having a great day in the room today. Joey is completely unhooked from his IV pole. We accomplished 892 calories yesterday, so they are now letting him eat on his own. We are racking up calories with Boost drinks and chocolate milk. And, today, he ate a whole piece of pizza. Yeah! New challenge, Joey wants to know why he can't leave if he feels so well and is unhooked. He spent most of today on the top of the couch with Grandma Scorpion doing action figures. It is awesome to see him like this. I attended a noon mass in the chapel. Thinking of my choir buddies today. The reading was from Paul, "At the Name of Jesus, every knee shall bow.." I can hear the song now. Hey Rosie, stand really tall in front of Tony tonight so he doesn't miss me too much, ok? I'm thinking of you all. More from the room tomorrow. We should see some white count, I hope. We had Bands today of 12. A band is an immature neutrophil or white blood cell. This is a very good sign. Til tomorrow, love to all!
