Today, my heart was divided in two--once again. Half went with Gina this morning and half remains with Joey. It was so hard to say goodbye to my girl...I will see her in two weeks when the fairy tale of last week will be over. We had a vacation-like time. I will treasure it.
Today, Joey and I went back to the hospital for a cardiolgy visit. My spirits went way up when I was told that his heart is normal. The reading of last week was borderline for his Q-T length. It appeared to be a long Q-T length which I understand to be a slower rythm. But, on a repeat study today, they confirmed he is ok. In addition, I learned that his kidney function is also normal. He also gained 3 1/2 lbs. I am terrified for next week, but all of this makes me breathe a little easier. He seems to be at the best possible place to go for this. We will have a great weekend and then, just take it on. We have big plans to meet Spidey. We'll post pictures as soon as we can.
