We were hoping Joey would be discharged yesterday, but his counts were still a little low. We are keeping our fingers crossed for today. He is still on IV antibiotics, but this can continue with home health. Otherwise, he is feeling spunky. He and I spent the day together yesterday at the hospital. We were on covert missions around the floor. Joey had his pretend Colt 45 and we were sneaking and crouching around the floor being James Bond! It was so cute watching him back up against the walls and crouch down by the nurse's station. He had a ball. Today, he has a hearing test to see where we are at following the treatment. He will also have some labs to look at the blood count. If the white count is on the rise, we may bring him home. Then, he has an MIBG scan on Thursday. We will most likely hit Cincinnati this weekend. We'll keep you posted. Thanks for the notes.
