: Hello family and friends. We just learned the surgery will be 6-28-04. He will probably be admitted prior to that for preparation-we are guessing on Sunday, 6-27-04. One other thing I neglected to put in yesterday's update which was very positive. The oncologist advised us that recent study of Joey's urine was nearly normal. There are indicators in the urine that denote disease, but Joey's is approaching normal! This was a good sign. Thanks to all of you for the kinds words---you don't know how much that helps. We can only remain positive knowing you are all there for us. It is overwhelming.

We check this site daily and pray every day for Joey's recovery and the strength of the entire family. Sounds as if all the prayers around the country are working. Praise God. Keep up the good work and stay strong.
