We had a rough start today. Joey did not want to roll out of bed this morning and go directly to the hospital. We had the day off yesterday while his counts rose. So, he thought we might spend another day at the hotel. I couldn't blame him. So, needless to say, the entire Hannaford Suites woke up nice and early to Joey screaming in the hall. A real low stress situation. Not the best start to our life saving day. But, by the time we got to the hospital, he was at least done crying. The procedure itself went well. We brought the Playstation and he played several games. Once we got started, it was a 4 hour process. He just played and ate while we did it. He did much better than emotional Mommy who spent the day just wondering why we couldn't just go to church or something. We are now in the apartment playing army men. We all had a much needed nap when we returned. Life seems somewhat normal again. We will not know the numbers until the morning. Then, we will be able to let all know how many more days we may need to collect. So, Joey is sitting here with me and I asked him what he would like to say. This is it: I like the Spiderman song. And, I like apples. I love everyone and I love Spiderman. And, I like the penguins at the Aquarium. See you when we get home. And, I miss Gina. And, I love Gina very much.
