: I want to send a HUGE thank you to Sherry and the rest of the staff at the Hartville branch of First Merit Bank. Today they held a bake sale for Joey and it was a grand success!! They raised $805 for the Joey Benevolent fund by selling baked goods, chips and hot dogs. People also made cash donations. They had music, balloons and luckily great weather. There was even a guy with a microphone calling people in from the parking lot.

We just viewed this from our hotel in Newport, KY. We have such great support while we are so far away. We have a great family. And, we have a great community rooting for us. To hear of such a great event put on by people we've never met gives us amazing strength. Thank you from all of us! We appreciate all the FirstMerit volunteers. We look forward to the day when we can bring Joey by to say Hi!. Thanks again.
