: Coming to you from our hospital room. What a great set up! We have a little desk area that the computer hooks right into. Ronald McDonald just came by to meet Joey. He waved at him from the hall--Joey has this thing about clowns. As Jeff said, Joey is doing a lot better today as his fever is broken. The toy lady came by and brought some action figures and blocks. Joey immediately built a Lego City for Spiderman to climb on. Jeff was invited to listen to rounds today. We are in a waiting game for the white blood cells to rise. We will be in here for another night. At the moment, his white blood count is too low to catch any stem cells in the collection. But, we hope to be at it by the end of the week. We will let you all know the schedule as soon as we do. Jeff sampled the Cincinnati Chili in the Cafeteria--the food here sure beats Akron. I am glad I won't be sharing the hospital room with him tonight. My turn to check out the hotel.
Hi guys - sounds like you had a better day. I had a great afternoon with Gina. She played after school with Nicholas and then we were off to Ben's game. She was interested in learning how to score from the official game scorekeeper (me). She even got to sit in the dugout and try out being the "Batgirl". Somewhere around the 4th inning, she took off to the next field to play soccer and kickball with Nick. The coach was ready to fire both the batgirl and batboy for abandoning their posts. On the way home, Gina said she had a fun time - yeah! Thought you'd like to know how she spent the afternoon. I enjoyed her tremendously!
