Sorry everyone---been a crazy week---so I haven't been as diligent about the updates. Joey took this round of chemo a little tougher than the first two--but, we were told that was to be expected. He has had a lot of trouble keeping much down. But, tonight, I could see him coming around. The light in his eyes is a little brighter and he is more playful. I am hoping with a good night's rest, he will be out of the woods by tomorrow. He ate a little today, and the only episode of vomiting occurred in response to his "delicious" medicine. So, can't blame him! He did receive a really neat package from cousin Robert today. He and Gina are excited to create a scrapbook to take to Tennessee with the kit Robert sent. Another highlight for the week was his basket of goodies from his buddy, Cassidy. Her family wrote to Frito Lay and explained Joey's Cheeto fettish--in return, Frito sent him Cheetos, Chester the Cheetah, a T-shirt (picture to posted later), and some snacks. Awesome and so cool! I'm sure he'll be bulking up on his favorite food very soon. Thanks to all for the continued notes of support. It is so uplifting to log in and see that EVERYONE is on our side. Love to all. Joey's next check-up is Monday. We'll update after that.
