We took a drive today to give Joey a change of scenery. He must wear a mask when outside of the hotel room. So, we kept him in the car. But, he enjoyed seeing something different. Grandma Mary Ann wanted to scope out a health center nearby for one of her projects. Joey and I went along for a change of pace. It was a good day. He took along his toy gun and scoped out his own "bad guys" along the way. He likes the tinted window next to his seat. It helps him remain under cover when playing Bond. Tomorrow, we will go back to the hospital for a check on his counts. We are still working on possibly making it home this weekend. We made some more calls today to see if we can coordinate insurance and treatment. I am still hopeful. Joey just looks wonderful to me. He laughs and plays all day. In the hospital, he so many moods. I can see a glimpse of his old self this week since we were released. It is pure joy for me. Last night, we took a walk in the neighborhood with his stroller. It has been warmer here than at home I understand. The neighborhood is historic and just lovely. Many of the homes date back to the 1850's. It was fun to see all the different courtyards, etc. Quite a different life. Very quaint, but no place to run. Very few places have any yard at all. There is a lot of row housing. It's really a neat area to hang out. Still, I am READY for home. Thanks to my wonderful friends who have helped out at the Tubo Bachelor Pad. And, another huge thanks to my sister for once again coordinating the efforts. I need to get home before Jeff has a chance to live there again! I'll update once tomorrow's numbers are in. Love to all.
