It was 5 years ago today that I begged for God to give me wings instead of Joey.

It was 5 years ago today that God granted me an unanswered prayer and showed me the way of true faith.

It was 5 years ago today that I asked why?

It was 5 years ago today that God showed me how.

It was 5 years ago today that I learned to ask questions.

It was 5 years ago today that God used Joey to show me the answers.

It was 5 years ago today that we tried to get through each day.

It was 5 years ago today that we began to see the gift in each day.

Don't let 5 years go by before you see the gift in each day.

Or, it will be 5 years from now before you appreciate it.

Take a moment to ponder where you have been this past 5 years. When we do, we realize we would not have survived without all of you. Thank you does not seem sufficient to appreciate the blessings our friends and family have bestowed upon us. With your loving support, we all survived.
