No-you didn't miss an update--I just can't seem to count. Good thing--because if I were counting the days to Spring, I'd think it was supposed to be here! I had to wake Joey up today to make it to work on time. He, like the rest of us, just didn't want to get up! He said, "Mommy, you can't get me up yet, there is no SUN!" I said, "Joey, we're not going to get any sun today in Ohio." He said, "Oh, I guess Grandpa Gilbo just has EXTRA sunshine today, right?" (For those of you who don't know, Grandpa Gilbo lives in sunny Florida) Yeah, I think that despite his treatment, he does get extra sun from Joey. June said that she takes a picture of Joey with Gina to each treatment for my dad to look at--what better inspiration? That's what Joey does for all of us, I think. Tonight, he was once again trying to help his sister with some words of wisdom. She finds herself in trouble quite a bit for her own choice words. So, tonight he said, "Gina, if you want to always be nice to your Mommy, you just have to always think about how much she loves you. And, you have to get all the mean guys out of your mind! Then, you will always be nice to your Mommy!" Gina just smiled at him and said, "I love you Buddy, Thanks". Funny thing is, Gina wasn't in trouble tonight---Joey just thought he'd help her out. Words of wisdom, for sure. So-good thoughts to everyone--and we always think of how much we are loved and supported by all of you.
